The Public Charter School Alliance of South Carolina (SC Charter Alliance) faced hurdles with their outdated Joomla-based website. The platform was cumbersome, lacked modern design elements, and provided a subpar user experience. It was also challenging to maintain and didn’t offer the dynamic functionality required to support their growing community of educators, parents, and students.

Recognizing these limitations, I recommended transitioning to WordPress—a robust, user-friendly platform with the flexibility to meet the organization’s needs. The goal was to create a modern website that not only streamlined access to resources but also amplified SC Charter Alliance’s brand and mission.

The redesign project involved a complete overhaul of the existing website, focusing on intuitive navigation, responsive design, and engaging content presentation. Key highlights of the new WordPress-based website include:

• Improved Blog Structure: Posts, such as success stories and case studies, were reorganized and presented aesthetically to increase user engagement.
• SEO Optimization: New pages and content were optimized to improve the site’s visibility on search engines, driving more traffic and awareness of the charter alliance's initiatives.

The transition to WordPress and the new design significantly boosted the website’s performance and user engagement. Key outcomes included:
